Julie Jackson

Chuck Burr founded Team Ridglea Masters Swim Team in 2001 and has been coaching competitive swimming and triathlon for the past 50+ years. His athletes range from recreational/conditioning members to competitive masters swimmers/triathletes to extreme world class athletes. He has the ability to tailor each session to meet everyone's individual needs, goals and desires. As an athlete himself, Chuck is a 4-time Ironman finisher and has competed in numerous open water swim events around the world. Chuck holds degrees from Texas A & M University and Texas Christian University. He and his wife have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren.

Julie Jackson has been an assistant coach for Team Ridglea Masters Swim Team since 2013. She is a USMS Level 2 and an ASCA Level 3 coach. Julie has taught swim lessons to all ages and coached masters and age group swimmers, as well. She likes building workouts that are geared toward stroke and technique. Julie has a BA in Sociology from UTA and has taught 3rd grade for 12 years. She is passionate about swimming and is on the Drowning Prevention Coalition Board which provides basic water safety to all ages in Fort Worth. Besides swimming, Julie enjoys reading, plants, and spending time with her family.
