Swimmingly
Nicole Paquette and Steve Wood, members of Team Ridglea, posted top performances at the U.S. Masters National Swimming Championships in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Paquette, 23, won the national age-group championship in the women's 18-24
1,650-yard freestyle.
Wood, 45, broke the national record for the men's 45-49 50 backstroke on the
opening leg of the men's 25-and-over 200 medley relay, turning in a time of
25.14 seconds.
Wood finished second in the 45-49 50 and 100 backstroke and third in the 200.
